| Honors
Program
The Honors Program at Georgia State University exemplifies
the commitment of the university to encourage exceptional
intellectual work by its students and faculty. It
is designed for outstanding undergraduate students
enrolled in any of the colleges of the university.
The program is an academic, not an honorary, organization.
It
provides core-level as well as upper-division courses
intended to meet the intellectual aspirations of highly
motivated and high-achieving students. The director
and staff work closely with students who are members
of the Honors Program to help them make their course
selections and define their academic objectives. The
program provides a natural home for both multicultural
and interdisciplinary courses, and it routinely provides
some of the most innovative courses in the university.
