Among several student media organizations, GSTV is Georgia State University’s student-run television station.An IMDb recognized producer, GSTV streams several programs from Panther report to Dark Knight Entertainment online and provides several areas of quality production by the students and for the students.GSTV can be viewed live streaming at gstvonline.org.
New South, GSU’s graduate student-edited journal features fiction, nonfiction, poetry, essays, portfolios and book reviews from across the United States. In addition to running an annual contest and publishing two issues a year, New South also stages student readings on- and off-campus and features a select number of outside readers. Making its debut in 2011, Underground is edited by GSU undergraduates and exclusively features work from the GSU community.
The Signal is Georgia State University’s student produced campus news publication. In newspaper form, the Signal delivers information of academic, organizational and sporting events, student opinion and more to students on a weekly basis.
The Georgia State University Players is the oldest student-run theatre group in Georgia. The Players at GSU is a community who strives to provide performance, directing, writing, and technical theatre opportunities to students. The Players focus on collaboration within the thriving theater community of Atlanta.
