We have many talented student producers and production teams here at GSUTV. As part of the practicum’s hands-on training students go through extensive “boot-camps" to learn the basics of lighting, shooting, program development and editing. But the real opportunity is to learn by doing under the supervision of professors of practice with decades of professional experience.

During the GSUTV practicum, we immerse our students in practical experiences, providing a real-world simulation of how to produce content for broadcast. Under the guidance of the professors of practice, students are tasked with conceptualizing, producing and editing original content that will be viewed throughout Georgia on cable, over the air and on digital platforms. This unique opportunity is truly a signature experience.
