Georgia has become the home of international film productions and episodic television. But here in Georgia, it's the Indi filmmaker that drives much of the artistic direction of mainstream entertainment.

Michael Cooke
Michael Cooke is an up and coming filmmaker who focuses on the human condition. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design he is now based out of New York. Michael got his start in Atlanta shooting commercials and music videos but soon gravitated to long-form storytelling. His most recent short film, Across the Tracks, is the story of two sisters growing up in rural Georgia in the 1960s and the film is garnering much acclaim on the film festival circuit.
Stacey Fitzgerald
Stacey Fitzgerald has had an interesting career path; from Treasury Agent to that of a full-time filmmaker. Stacey's first full-length feature The Delivery Boy Chronicles is a quirky comedy that was quickly picked up for distribution. Currently, Stacey has changed direction developing and producing, Saving the Rabbits of Ravenbruk, a documentary that recounts the brave woman who was interned at the infamous Ravensbruck camp during the Second World War.
Vandon Gibbs
Vandon Gibbs is a writer/director based in Atlanta. His film Solace has won numerous awards at international film festivals and has been picked up for distribution. On this episode of Indie Filmmakers Vandon shares his process of creating and some of the rewards and frustrations of being an independent filmmaker
Superflux
Mark and Loran Falls are Atlanta based designers/producers who own and operate Superlux. The company provides creative services for the advertising and corporate markets but they have recently turned their attention toward independent filmmaking. We know they will be successful in their ventures as their creative roster is filled with Georgia State alumni.
