- Biography
Dr. Janovec-Black's research interests focus on bullying experiences and how identity and family communication potentially affect individual's disclosure and mental health. Her past work has also focused on intergenerational familial communication, race communication and race-based bullying, as well as feminist identity and voice. Dr. Janovec-Black's passion for teaching has led her to Georgia State where she teaches a variety of classes (Communication and Diversity, Interpersonal Communication) and strives to help students apply course content in their everyday lives.
