Marilyn Stiggers

Department Operations Manager    

Marilyn Stiggers is the Departmental Operations Coordinator for the front office of  Department of Communication.  She serves as the liaison for general support and operations, including customer service.

Stiggers joined Georgia State University in 2008 after a thirty three year career with the Wachovia Bank Cooperation, which is now Wells Fargo bank. She moved up the ladder holding many position titles; ultimately becoming a Financial Center Manager/ Assistant Vice President in 1995. While at Wachovia, she received extensive technical training in management, diversity affairs, sales, and computer software including Lotus and Microsoft Office. She retired from banking in 2004. During this transition period she devoted most of her time to volunteering at her church and in the community.  In addition Stiggers graduated from M.E.D.S. School of Ministry Bible College, a two-year ministry training program.

Stiggers is active in her church where she currently volunteers through the offices of the Daystar Tabernacle Intl, in the Daily Bread Book Store.  She is an Atlanta native and graduate of Northside High School. Her hobbies include mentoring young ladies, spending time with family (she is a new grandmother) and being an active participant in church activities. She loves to smile and enjoy helping others.
