Global - 2CI Transcultural Conflict & Violence
The Transcultural Conflict and Violence Initiative builds research teams of faculty and competitively selected doctoral students trained in communications studies, political science, computer science, studies in Middle Eastern studies, religious studies, psychology and anthropology to:
- Better understand the underlying causes of transcultural conflicts, violence and terrorism;
- Identify research-based solutions for reducing the impact of transcultural conflicts;
- Detect predictive indicators of future transcultural conflicts.
Industries - Georgia News Lab
The Georgia News Lab is a partnership between Georgia State, the University of Georgia, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and WSB-TV. The lab’s goals are to train young investigative reporters, produce high-quality public service news stories and bring added diversity to newsrooms.
