Undergraduate Scholarship Application

To be considered for the scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

• Declared major: Journalism or Speech
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Classification of Junior or Senior
• Minimum of at least one semester (spring) remaining at GSU.

Applicant Must Also:

• Write a 500-word essay explaining your personal goals and interests, and why you are pursuing a career in a field related to your major.
• Resume

Note: All scholarship winners agree to share a picture of themselves to be used in promotional material.

Application Deadline:

Preference will be given to applications submitted by Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Applications received after that date will be accepted on a rolling basis until the committee meets to make its final decisions.
